Founded in 1993, Nanny and Webster® designs and manufactures
generously-sized, high quality, 100% cotton-flannel baby blankets. After the birth of their second child, founders Laurie and Scott Oki searched the market for a soft, durable, good-sized baby blanket. Unable to find what they were looking for, they decided to manufacture their own blankets. Bright and soft colored patterns were chosen, skilled sewers were hired, creative packaging designed, and the Nanny and Webster® message was penned... "Bringing warmth and comfort to children and the people who care for them."®
Nanny and Webster® blankets are packaged by South King County Activity Center (SKCAC), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Since 1967, SKCAC has provided employment and community inclusion services to individuals with developmental disabilities throughout King County, Washington. SKCAC serves individuals referred by the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and Developmental Disabilities Administration of the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, school transition programs, and private individuals. The agency is fully accredited through the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and earned a Three-Year Accreditation through October 31, 2024, recognizing excellence in services to people with disabilities. All materials used in packaging are 100% recyclable.
